The size dimensions of the car will be similar to the Nissan Micra and it will be adorned with a host of features vying for the affluent urban buyer. Looking at these speculations, the market positioning and the features the car will have a price range of Rs 6-8 lakh across petrol and diesel variants. The car will be priced a bit higher than the Nissan Micra but will not look to fool itself like what the Honda Jazz did in the initial launch. For the entire game plan of the Pulse though we will have to celebrate the New Year and get tickets to the Auto Expo in Delhi. Renault is surely in no hurry in launching a small car and is planning everything to the hilt. The company currently is building up production facilities and trying to gauge its ability to handle the demands of the Indian audience. They are spreading their dealerships and service outlets to allow the brand to thrive. The car when launched will look to create a niche audience in the crowded premium hatch space based on design, price and positioning. This means that it keeps the logistics simple and the Nissan Micra platform should ward off any delivery troubles. The Pulse might not create a lot of heart beats but will surely look to get a fair share of the market. The Renault Pulse will compete against the likes of the highly competitive cars like Suzuki Swift, Chevrolet Beat, Hyundai i20 and its Nissan Micra.

I need to know something about the 8.3L Cummins Diesel Engine. What are the dimensions of the engine? I need to know if I can fit it in an '87 Chevrolet 3500. Has anybody done it? It the engine to big? Heavy? What modifications will be needed?

I think it would be too big and too heavy for a3500 series truck. Im sure the alterations that you would have to do, to fit it in, if it fits, would not be worth the effort.
